About

NurtureNature! is on a mission to protect and nurture the health of humans and their natural habitat, planet earth, (and generally save all creatures great and small from the dark side). Although I write about valuable products, this blog is not about acquiring more things. It is about

  • taking great care of what we have and making it last longer
  • creating a safer, better world for everyone
  • nurturing the good in and preventing harm to people and planet
  • showing love and care in everything we do
  • taking on the larger-picture responsibility.

NurtureNature! author, Heather, likes things that sparkle and shine only if they are honest, healthy, healing, and/or making our world a better place. She doesn’t post unless she has something she feels is of true value. Her opinion cannot be bought. She is not paid to do positive write-ups. When she writes about a special product it is for one reason only, she feels it is truly a special product and it meets the NurtureNature! standard for protection of people and earth. If you have a great, truly nontoxic, truly effective, truly eco-intelligent product or have heard about a new one, she is more than happy to spread the word! heather@heatherferris.net.

The NurtureNature! blog goal is to spread information about practices and products that, a. do no harm, b. prevent illness and suffering, and/or c. promote health and enhance quality of life. Also visit www.heatherferris.net, the NurtureNature! Prevention Website.

Juice Beauty only has 4 USDA certified products out of there 30+ products to choose from. I find this not enough to endorse them as an “organic company”. They are greenwashers.

I respect and understand your point of view. However, I also know that they had to go through a lot to get those four certified. So, I give them credit for doing it. They have a good thing going. I hope they will certify more soon. It will set a great example for others.

    hi heather:
i am writing to you to let you know about a very special product line that you have not listed. It is called Indian Meadow Herbals from Maine- Their products are ALL either USDA certified organic, or made with USDA certified organic ingredients. I am lucky enough to be selling their products.

I will send you some detailed info when you write back to me.
    Thanks, Karen

Thanks for the good work and helpful info. If the human 1st world can get a more balanced outlook , we’ll all be okay. Less greed, less wasteful consumerism, more peaceful intelligence. Or something like that !
Thank you…. live long , and go in peace.

    Hello,

My name is Bill Hawthorne, and I represent maacenter.org, a leading web resource for asbestos exposure and mesothelioma cancer information. Our organization is dedicated to increasing awareness of the terrible health consequences of asbestos exposure through the distribution of the best informational materials and public outreach efforts.

I found your site through a search and decided to contact you because of its high environmental and green presence which is extremely important in our movement. Your viewers are extremely savvy and motivated. The promotion of how buildings should now be built using green products to avoid asbestos and mesothelioma as well as the awareness of past buildings and preventative steps in avoiding asbestos exposure are extremely important. My goal is to get a resource link on your site.

I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to check out our website at http://www.maacenter.org. Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Bill
